Theta Healing

Theta Healing

ThetaHealing is a spiritual and intuitive method that combines healing, meditation, and work with the subconscious mind. Many people use this technique to create emotional well-being, positive changes in their emotions, relationships, and personal growth. The method was created by Vianna Stibal in 1995, who is known within this philosophy as the “Creator of All That Is.”

Today, thousands of people around the world are interested in learning more through individual sessions, courses, thetahealing seminars, books, and practice. For many, it is not only a healing technique, but also a way to understand the energetic connection between the body, mind and spirit.

What is ThetaHealing®?

The method is based on the idea that the brain can enter a special theta state during deep meditation. In this state, many believe it becomes easier to connect with intuition and the subconscious mind.

A theta healer often works with emotions, limiting beliefs, and old patterns that may affect relationships and personal development. The goal of this method is to identify and release old subconscious programs in order to create positive change through inner transformation.

Many describe the experience as a strong connection with unconditional love — or what is often called “the Creator of All That Is.”

How does the theta healing method work?

The ThetaHealing technique combines modern spiritual healing practices with deep emotional work. A healer or ThetaHealing Master often uses guided visualization, meditation techniques, and focused questions to identify old subconscious programming.

The work may involve:

  • fear
  • stress
  • self-criticism
  • relationships
  • dreams and goals
  • past trauma
  • limiting emotions

Many believe that emotions are stored deeply within the body and even within DNA. For this reason, some practitioners focus on helping release energies connected to past experiences.

During a session, the client usually sits relaxed with closed eyes while the healer guides them into a theta state. The focus is on spiritual growth and inner balance.

ThetaHealing®, spirituality and meditation

This method is often connected to healing and spiritual development. At the same time, many practitioners emphasize that it is not a religion. People from different cultures and belief systems use the technique as a supplement to personal growth and self-development.

Many experience a stronger connection with their soul and inner peace. Others use the method to develop self-love, confidence, and clarity around dreams and life goals.

The concept of unconditional love is central within this philosophy. The idea is that true healing happens through acceptance and unconditional love.

Can the method support people dealing with illness?

Some people use this practice as emotional support during difficult life situations or illnesses. It is important to understand that the method does not replace medical treatment. Most people view it as a complementary practice alongside traditional support and personal development.

Many report positive results when combining these techniques with relaxation, mindfulness, and mental training.

Research also shows that the brain responds positively to relaxation and focused awareness. Many people experience less stress and greater balance through regular practice.

Why do people want to learn thetahealing?

More and more people want to learn this method because it feels simple, accessible, and practical — even for beginners. Many courses focus on techniques that can be used in everyday life.

During a course, people often learn:

  • how to use inner awareness
  • how to identify subconscious blocks
  • how to strengthen self-awareness
  • how to understand emotions
  • how to support themselves and others

Over time, some choose to become professional healers or ThetaHealing practitioners, while others simply use the methods privately as part of their personal growth journey.

There are many levels of training — from beginner to ThetaHealing Master. Some schools, such as House of Theta, offer both online and in-person programs.

The difference between coaching and this alternative method

Traditional coaching often focuses on goals, action, and motivation. This method, however, combines work with energy, the subconscious mind, and spiritual development.

It explores how conscious and unconscious thoughts influence choices, relationships, and self-worth. Many people therefore experience a deeper understanding of their own patterns and emotional reactions.

Who is this method for?

This method may be suitable for people who want to:

  • understand their emotions
  • find inner peace
  • create healthier relationships
  • explore spirituality
  • bring more balance into life

The method is used by people all over the world — from beginners to experienced practitioners.

About ThetaHealer Alexandra

My name is Alexandra. I am a certified Mindset & Leadership Coach (PCC ICF), Theta Practitioner, a mother of two amazing teenagers — and above all, a woman on her own journey. A journey back to myself, toward stillness, joy, and a kind of beauty that begins within.

Through ThetaHealing® and subconscious work, I help women reconnect with their energy, emotional balance, and themselves again. Many of the women I work with are tired of always having to stay strong, hold everything together, and take care of everyone else — while losing connection with who they truly are.

I have completed more than 1,000 hours of individual client work, and every session has confirmed one thing: true transformation is not about becoming “perfect.” It is about recognizing yourself again. About feeling alive again — in your body, emotions, and life.

My work is not about fixing or changing you. I create a space where you can breathe more deeply, hear yourself again, and reconnect with what is true for you.
